GIT (Maubot) plugin

This instance uses Maubot and its GIT plugin.

What?

An GIT plugin to get Github and Gitlab -integrations into an Matrix-room

Set up

  • Invite user @git:hacklab.fi into desired matrix-room
  • Commanding !github help will give you an instructions to follow for Github integration
  • Commanding !gitlab help will give you an instructions to follow for Gitlab integration

Note: an user needs to be “logged in” into his Github and/or Gitlab account with the bot in order to command the bot for the git-repositories one is allowed to manage in Github/Gitlab side.

  • One can open an private chat with @git:hacklab.fi if so desired and issue either !github login and/or !gitlab login and follow instuctions, also the mentioned help-commands will work here too.

Telegram

  • If one has bridged an Matrix room to Telegram group one can also invite this bots Telegram counterpart @HacklabGITbot into said Telegram group to get git-feed from proper Telegram botuser instead of matrix-relay user.
